Longtime friends and collaborators Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty will reunite to Singham again. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, who previously worked with Shetty on Chennai Express and recently appeared in Circus. While the project is in pre-production and has yet to launch, the makers have reportedly set a release date for the film. It is reported that Ajay Devgn – star of Deepika Padukone Singham again will kick off filming in July 2023. The makers are eyeing the release date of Diwali 2024.

At the launch of the song Circus in December 2022, Rohit Shetty announced that Deepika Padukone was joining the police universe. Rohit revealed, “Everyone knows my next movie is Singham again, belonging to the universe cop. Each time, I am asked ‘Lady Singham kab aayegi?’. Toh Singham still mein Lady Singham aayegi.
Rohit Shetty added: “She’s my cop wife from the police universe. So we will work together next year.
Outside Devgn, Ranveer Singh Simba and Akshay Kumar Sooryavanshi should also make appearances in the film. A source recently said bollywood hungama“It’s a whole detective universe, and like the Marvel universe where the movie featured cameos from other members, Singham again will also feature cameos. As in Simba where Ajay and Akshay made cameos, albeit in the post-credits, and later in Sooryavanshi where Ranveer and Ajay were seen, Singham again will also feature Akshay and Ranveer.
The source added, “These films are set to coincide with each other, so obviously all three will be in each other’s films.” But will they lead to a joint climax film as in the case of Marvel and the source adds: “There is still time to get there, but there will certainly be something big to end the detective universe saga when it does. to arrive at”.
In the first part, Singham, Ajay Devgn’s character, Bajirao Singham, fights against gangster-turned-politician Jaykant Shikre (Prakash Raj). In Singham’s Returnthe public saw him up in arms against a fraudulent spiritual guru Babaji (Amole Gupte) and minister Prakash Rao (Zakir Hussain).
